Jacob Nudelman
Director of Finance and Operations
Jacob Nudelman joins the Finance and Operations team as the Director of Finance and Operations, reporting to Jennifer Keeling and will be based out of the Chicago office. In this role, Jacob will oversee all financial aspects of CRED, including daily financial management, budgeting, planning, and analysis He will work closely with the leadership team, manage audits, liaise with eternal financial and legal services, and ensure compliance with regulations. Additionally, Jacob will collaborate with HR to manage payroll and benefits, recommend operational polices and support the organization’s culture and strategic goals. Prior to joining EC, Jacob served as the First Deputy Budget Director for the City of Chicago, after serving in various roles for the City Office of Budget and Management. He completed his undergraduate degree at Eastern Illinois University and received his Master’s in Public Administration at the University of Illinois Springfield. Jacob’s professional career encompasses finance and budgeting, public safety, nonprofit administration, and emergency operations. In his free time, you can find Jacob running or biking along the lakefront trail and playing volleyball on the beach. He also enjoys exploring Chicago neighborhoods with his friends and dog, Gilbert.
