Raiki Adams

Raiki Adams, has been in social services since 2011, after graduating from Shaw University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and concentration in criminal justice. She is a candidate for a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement Administration at the University of Colorado Global Campus. After graduating from Shaw, Raiki worked at the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, followed by work as the co-founder of a nonprofit organization assisting felons to re-enter their communities. In 2016, Raiki went to work with Inspiration Corporation, where she managed and supervised over several federal funded housing projects and in those positions, she advocated on client’s behalf, with property managers, landlords and service providers to ensure connection to services. Raiki joined Chicago CRED in April, 2024. Raiki is passionate about the eradication of the stigma associated with incarceration, homelessness, community challenges and disabilities.
