Kathy Cullick
Director of North Lawndale Collaborative
Kathy Cullick joins Chicago CRED as Director of the North Lawndale Collaborative and will report to the Chief of Partnerships & Operations, Jennifer Keeling. She will work closely with cross-functional teams within CRED including citywide, policy, and programs. Her emphasis will prioritize reflecting the collective efforts of the North Lawndale Collaborative while representing each organization’s work together. Kathy brings a wealth of experience in relationship building and maintaining/growing strategic collaborative partnerships. Before joining Chicago CRED, Kathy served as a Program Director with Bright Star Community Outreach and focused on building a stronger, viable and resilient community by providing residents with mental health resources, workforce development opportunities (through the Greater Bronzeville Neighborhood Network), and data-informed programing designed to bring health equity and violence reduction. While developing programs and providing opportunities for the residents within her reach, Kathy received The Community Builder Award in 2019 from The Chicago Urban League and The Community Champion Award from the Chicago Department of Public Health in 2023. Kathy is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree at Capella University with a focus of Psychology. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her husband and three children.
